ISSF TARGET PISTOL MATCHES
We participate in ISSF target pistol shooting events on paper targets. Competitors aim at a 10 ring target in the standing position. The pistol is held using one hand to fire the pistol. The hand and wrist must be completely free of support. All events are 60 shot matches.
10m Air Pistol Men/Women a 60-shot precision match (40 for Juniors) shot with a 4.5 mm (.177”) air pistol at a target 10 meters
25m Pistol Women/Men a .22 caliber event divided into two 30 shot stages - a Precision Stage (slow fire) and a Rapid-Fire Stage
25m Centrefire Pistol shot using .32 or .38 caliber pistol. This event is also divided into two 30 shot stages - a Precision Stage (slow fire) and a Rapid-Fire Stage
25m Standard Pistol a 60-shot .22 caliber match with turning targets and strict timing stages (150, 20, and 10 seconds per 5-shot series)
25m Rapid Fire Pistol shooters engage five side-by-side targets simultaneously, with exposure times of 8, 6, and 4 seconds, totalling 60-shots
50m Pistol a 60-shot slow-fire precision event using .22LR single-shot pistol
